A.P.O.D. Grooming (All Pawz On Deck Mobile Dog Grooming) strives to provide the safest and most efficient grooming experience for you and your pup. We ask that all clients are respectful of their appointment times. We try our utmost best to be punctual for all appointments made, however there are circumstances that may affect timing as a mobile service. Some exceptions include but are not limited to first time clients, pets behavior, weather, alternative travel routes, etc. In the event we are running ahead or behind schedule we will reach out via text to keep our clients updated.

A text reminder will be sent out the day before your pets scheduled grooming. Please respond via text to confirm your appointment. If no confirmation has been made by 6:00 P.M. the night before the appointment will be considered cancelled, fees may apply to reschedule. Un-foreseen circumstances may arise that cause A.P.O.D Grooming to cancel an appointment, such as but not limited to, equipment malfunctions and weather conditions. In these cases all clients will be contacted as far in advance as possible and will be rescheduled accordingly.

It is highly recommended that all pups be kept on a schedule, typically grooming is conducted every 4-6 weeks (depending on breed, coat condition/ desired length). We strongly recommend booking at least one grooming appointment in advance at the ending of your previous appointment to ensure your pet is able to get seen in a timely manner. Appointments book up quickly and are grouped based on location in order to ensure an efficient route.

Must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment in order to avoid a non refundable fee. This too applies to multiple pet households in the event only one pets grooming has been cancelled. This ensures that we are able to schedule accordingly and provide quality service to all our appreciated clients.

All Pets must be up to date with current vaccinations. Clients must provide the name, phone number and address of their current veterinarian

At your scheduled grooming time, we ask that their is someone over the age of 18 to remain in the home for the duration of the pets grooming. Shall an emergency arise or the inability to complete a groom due to behavior and/ or medical conditions (see behavior section) the individual will be contacted.

Each pet is given individualized and specialized attention when in the care of A.P.O.D Grooming. While we strive to provide a completely stress free environment, grooming can expose/aggravate underlying health and/or skin issues. Senior pets are extremely susceptible to becoming overwhelmed during this time which can lead to shock, and even cardiac episodes.

This may require seeking veterinary attention during/after a grooming session. Veterinary care will be done at the discretion and expense of the pet owner. In the event a medical situation shall arise the client will be contacted immediately and the grooming session will be ended. The client acknowledges that A.P.O.D Grooming LLC will not be held liable in such instances.

Clients must inform A.P.O.D Grooming LLC of any aggressive behaviors and/or medical episodes their pet has had during previous grooming experiences. While we strive to make grooming a pleasant experience for all our furry companions we do need to keep in mind we are working with very sharp objects and moving targets. A.P.O.D Grooming has the right to refuse service to any pet that is overly stressed or exhibiting aggressive tendencies. Safety of your pet is our biggest concern and top priority. In the event these behaviors occur A.P.O.D Grooming will end the session and you will be contacted to come retrieve your pet from our care.

Grooming prices will be adjusted based on the services able to be provided.

A.P.O.D Grooming reserves the right to refuse service for any pup that is severely matted and poses a risk of injury to said pet. In most cases we will recommend the pet be brought to a veterinary establishment to complete a medically necessary groom. In the event we are able to assist a matted pet, this will require a complete shave down. Shaving down the pet is the most humane and sanitary option (as groomers we can uncovered hotspots and other skin infections as well as critter infestations – Refer to the Flea and Tick section for more information). In the event your pet is shaved they can exhibit some out of the ordinary behaviors for some time. This is common and not a cause for concern. Matting poses serious health risks to our beloved pups. Please know this is more than tangled hair, matting restricts blood vessels which can cause the loss of proper blood circulation to areas of the body. This may result in a hematoma, most commonly seen on the ears of matted dogs. All dogs are susceptible to cuts, nicks, scrapes, scratches, razor irritation depending on behavior and coat condition. While we take proper precautions to avoids these conditions, this can require veterinary intervention which will be at the expense of the pet owner and A.P.O.D Grooming will not be held liable.

In the event fleas or ticks are found, A.P.O.D Grooming will administer a flea and tick shampoo to rid the pet of such. Fees for this service may increase the total grooming price. However, if their is an infestation no grooming session will be had and the client will be contacted immediately. The pet must then be seen and treated by a licensed veterinarian. If you suspect your pet of having fleas before booking a grooming session please bring this to our attention and will can instruct on the best course of action to be taken.

All transactions are completed in person at the time services are provided. NO transactions can be made at a later date or in advance. NO transactions can be made via Zelle, Venmo or other cash apps. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
